DX 4/2003 at age 32. Married with 2 children. Girl-6years old Boy-3 years old. Stage IV. Her2++++ er+ pr+. Multiple mets to liver and lytic lesions to spine. Started weekly Taxol and Herceptin 4/2003. Had CT scan in July 2003. Liver mets reduced in size by 50%. Tumor in breast gone. No new bone scan yet. Have another CT scan in October. Onc is very positive....expecting good news. I am viewing this whole experience as a blessing in disguise. My husband and I have gotten so much closer with each other as well as with God. My faith has increased through all of this and I am holding on for my miracle. I choose life...
