Hi everyone
I know I was given the the website for the Glaxo Smith Kline clinical trials in australia at some stage, but now cannot find it. Does anyone know what it is? I think they are only doing clinical trials for patients with brain mets, but would like to find out more.
Thank you & happy new year all

The home site of GlaxoSmith down under is at: http://www.gsk.com.au/default.aspx
The clinical trial link is:

Lisa, i know they are doing a trial at the Royal Melbourne for Tykerb but i don't know anything else or if it has even started. I see they are doing EAP at Geelong hospital and the contact is Richard Bell. I know it is a hike but he seems very good.(i actually think Barwon Health is pretty progressive) I saw him do a very indepth lecture about HER-2/ Herceptin a few years ago and it is how i found out I was Her-2 as i raced home and read my path report. I'd try and contact them

Hi Linda
Thanks for the reply. What were the requirements for you going on this trial? Have you had any side effects? The only person I know to have tried Tykerb had a shocking rash over her body, and had to stop the trial.
