Subcarinal nodes

Hi all,
I had a PET scan yesterday and today my oncologist called me to say that though everything was ok on the PET, they saw an area of more illumination in the subcarinal nodes. She said to follow up with a CT scan. I do not understand what to make out of this. Anyone had a similar expereince, please write.

I do know these have to do with the lung region...have you had a cold or URI or bronchitis lately that would inflame them? Hope this helps.
