question about supraclavicular nodes

HI,

I know there are some of you with mets to the supraclavicular nodes. I was wondering if you or your doc could palpate these nodes? My sternal-clavicular joint on the left side (cancer side) is enlarged. It is not tender........ I was wondering if this enlargement could be due to an enlarged node. It is possible that this joint has always been larger than the one on the right, but I never noticed it before. I am scheduled to see my med onc the first week of Dec for a routine 3 month exam.

My nodes were palpable...I actually found them myself...and I could see a "lump" when i turned my head to the side. At first they were not tender, but they did get tender as they enlarged. Hope this helps.
