This summer, one of the reasons they wanted me to go in to the hospital so that they could insert a drain. The purpose of the drain is to drain fluids excess.

I was told that the cerebellum, compared to other parts of brain, is prone to collecting excessive fluids.

Thanks for noticing the problem I posted. So sorry you had to have something done about yours. Guess it depends on where and how the fluid is collecting, but sounds like you had to get a SHUNT put in.

My fluid is not inside my brain covering, but under my scalp from a leak in my surgery area somewhere.
