If you are interested in an online conference dealing with memoray and concentration, please note the following.

Dear breastcancer.org (http://breastcancer.org/) Community Member:

Join us tonight, Tuesday, August 15th between 9:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)* (2:30 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. GMT August 16th) for this month's Ask-the-Expert Online Conference: Thinking and Memory Challenges.

If you're being treated for breast cancer and seem to have more memory lapses or trouble concentrating than you did before diagnosis, you're probably not imagining it. Breast cancer treatment can have an impact on clear memory and concentration, or "cognitive function."

During and after breast cancer treatment, a wide variety of factors can affect cognitive function: emotional stress, the effects of chemotherapy on clear thinking (sometimes called "chemo brain"), whether you've been through menopause, and more. Breast cancer and treatment-related thinking challenges are not usually permanent, but they can be frustrating when they do happen.

If you'd like to ask a question relating to THINKING AND MEMORY CHALLENGES but will not be able to join the conference tonight, you can submit your question now at:

http://chat.liveworld.com/events/chat/ibreast/ (http://chat.liveworld.com/events/chat/ibreast/)

We'll answer as many questions as we can during the conference. A conference transcript will be posted at breastcancer.org (http://breastcancer.org/) by August 23rd.

To join the conference, go to www.breastcancer.org (http://www.breastcancer.org/) any time between 9:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. EDT* tonight and click on the "Join Conference" button. No special software is required.

I look forward to having you join our Ask-the-Expert Online Conference tonight!
