Herceptin and heartburn

Anybody else experiencing heartburn problems while on Herceptin? I am having a terrible problem lately and I remember feeling this way a few months ago as well.

I have noticed heartburn symptoms as well. I will have a slight burning in my throat and chest sometimes. A little burpy, too. I wasn't sure if it could be from the rads. Maybe it is the herceptin. When I think too much I will worry that it may be something going on with my lungs. I sure hope not! Anyway, it is not that often but I don't remember having heartburn before. Oh yeah, 10 years ago when I was pregnant with my daughter.

After 8 months on Herceptin, heartburn seems to be steadily increasing. I now get physically ill one day after treatment. Thankfully, I only have about 3 more infusions and I will be done. I am celebrating on a cruise at the end of Sept. Hooray!!!! Linda

Yes. I have acid reflux 2-3 days after my Herceptin treatment.

I am also having heartburn I am taking an over the counter anti-acid which helps.....

It is the herceptin.....
