Ceesun,
I have not had this combination of drugs or lung mets. There are lots of women on this board who have had lung mets resolve completely. Read Christine's birthday message for starters! I'm sure you will get many responses from others who can give you their personal experiences.
Good luck on the new combo!

Ceeson,
This is a very active and I thought proven combination, and I'm surprised it is still in clinical trials. Navelbine has been used specifically for lung mets, as it was first used in lung cancer, and xeloda is a pro-drug to 5-FU which is a good all round chemo. Provided the dosage is right, it should be well tolerated and hopefully, this combination will resolve your mets. Both are highly synergistic with herceptin.
Good luck,
Al

I had two small lung mets, they were treated with Herceptin, Xeloda, and Taxotere. They were gone after 6 weeks of treatment, I stayed on treatment for 4 months and was NED in April. ...sherryg683
