Hi Rhonda,

The story you posted could bring anyone to tears. I can relate to some extent as I had a brother who had Down syndrome. Jimmy passed away 11/16/90 at the age of 47. When Jimmy was about 30, my Mom had bleeding from her nipple (right breast). By the Grace of God, it was benign. I was 16 at the time and remember my Dad being so concerned. I realized later that outside of his deep love for my Mom, he was so upset that if Mom did have breast cancer how could he explain anything to Jimmy. (Remember, this was 1973). The unusual thing about this is that Mom had Jimmy when she was 29 and had my sister at 40 and me at 43. Mom, Dad and Jimmy are now in Heaven together. My prayers go out to this family, that they may have nothing from now on but health, peace and happiness.

I just posted a somewhat complaining letter in the her2 message board and wow do I feel guilty. The story you posted is a reminder that someone else always has it worse unfortunately. I am humbled.
