I will be staying at the renaissance hotel. Are you? It would be nice to meet up.
Have you attended this training conference in the past? Which workshops are you attending. As soon as I get up and look at my form I send you which ones at which times I have signed up for.
My onc says he ususally speaks but this year he could not make it.

Shannon, I'm staying there too! I'm so glad i will "know" someone now! I didn't sign up for any of the talks yet. How did you sign up for them? I guess i didn't know i was supposed to. oops. Have you been to DC before? Are you going there with someone or one your own? What kind of clothes are you taking? Sounds like a dumb question but i don't know what the weather is there. Excited to meet you Shannon

I registered in advance, in order to apply for their "scholarship". I was asked to select workshops on the application. I know registration also takes place the first morning. Since I was awarded the scholarship, I have been set up to share a room with another recipient. I don't know this person. So basically, I will be on my own.
If you are up for exploring DC, I am. I have been to DC before, but only for the day and it was a few years ago. I really enjoyed it. The Metro (subway) is awesome and eliminates the need for a car. The college areas are really funky and full of all types of cuisines and cafes. The museums and monuments are amazing.
It is usually a bit warmer in DC than here in NJ. However, the weather has been crazy here. Last week it was beach weather (in the low 80s), then last weekend it was winter again (40's). It has warmed up again this week, so I am looks like DC will be nice (60-70s). I just check the forcast and it says sunny/65 through the 4/30.
It will be really nice to meet you if we have the chance.

Shannon, i too will have a room mate picked. Wouldn't that be a ironic if we got the same room?! Let's plan on hanging together. I don't want to walk around by myself at night! I will give you my cell number so we can call each other. I'm getting into Washinton around 11:30 am sat. What about you? My cell is 4023668993 We can meet up sat.
