Brain MRI

Well, I had my treatment (I have had 4 A/C and 9 Taxol/Herceptin)and I need to have a brain MRI to check for possible spread to my brain. I have been having headaches, nosebleeds (side effect from Taxol I found out) and my eye has been twitching really bad. I pray the MRI is clear. My onc said he thinks it will be, but it is scary as hell. He also wants my surgery done in May, not June and the mammo the 2nd week of May. He does not want to wait at all incase there is still cancer cells in my lymph nodes. Please say a prayer for me. Thanks!

Getting the MRI is a smart thing....kind of insurance I like to think. Good luck with the surgery, you will do fine....sounds like your doctor is on top of things!

Thanks Sheila and Rhonda, I am sure it will be ok. I am just a little concerned. The headaches are very dull, not throbbing. I also have had a floater in the same eye since about 2 months before dx. My onc was not worried about it. I read all the "twitch" thread, glad to hear I was not alone. Have a good evening!
