I emailed Joe about putting out a cookbook and having the proceeds go to "supporting the board". Is there anyone willing to work w/ me on this? Thank you.

Rhonda

PS, Here is his reply:

Re: HER2 cookbook
Fine with me.. Do you have any volunteers to coordinate this project?

I think it is a great idea but don't have the time to help out. I would purchase them if they were available. I probably would use them for gifts as they would be healthy recipes. Hugs, Sandy

Hi Rhonda,

I may be able to help with some recipes. But I most definetely (like Sandy) would purchase them and give as gifts. My dear late Aunt Ceil gave us all a special cookbook years ago as a gift. I believe they were sponsored by one of the toy makers. I think it was Mattel. I recall that the proceeds were given to a childrens cancer program. I can't tell you how many quick and delicious recipes I found in that book. Please keep me posted.

Regards,

Liz J.

Rhonda you are so on top of things, thanks for pursuing this idea further that came up via of Sunday night's chat. Of course, I will help, just let us know what your plan is and how everyone is to submit their recipes. You know it would be great if their was an introduction to healthy her2 living prior to the recipe section, suggesting why particular vitamins, herbs, oils etc are important for the daily her2 diet.

Count me in. Do we happen to have any qualified nutritionists on board who could help us out with Robin's idea for an introductory chapter on nutrition?
