Does anyone know about the percentage of the women HER2 - positivity who had been exposed to Herceptin one year in adjuvant treatment and developped reccurence after ?

From HERA study(saint antonio breast cancer)The break down of risk for relaspe in 2 yr. f/u is as follows for observation group :

ER,PR Negative, her2+
Node Negative 18%
1-3 nodes 25%
greater 4 nodes 33%

ER,PR positive, her2+
Node Negative 9%
1-3 Nodes 12%
greater 4 nodes 33%

but I d'ont find anything (percentage of recurrence )for the group one year herceptin .

Sincerely,
VIVIANE

Viviane,
I believe Joe answered your question. The trial was just finished in April and the follow up results are not out yet.

Vivian, I found this as one of the articles from SABC when I put in HERA search info. I think this answers your question for one year.

Viviane,

I was wondering where you found it broken down like that. I have never seen that before in such detail. Thanks.

HI CHERILS ,

I found it particularly as a graph presented by the speaker for the HERA discussing trail results form 2005 SABC (saint Antonio Breast cancer ) live webcast .but unfortunately I can't copy and paste this slide .

ok I just don't get this. does this mean that if you are er- and her2+ and node negative you will be a 18% reccurance rate even with 1 year of herceptin? or with out herceptin?
