Finally some half-decent news: Linda was accepted in the Allos trial AND drew the treatment arm. That means she will be receiving the radio-sensitizing drug. Tx is for 10 days stating this Monday.
Thank you again everyone for all the well wishes.
Cheers,
Al

Great news!
Hopefully this is the beginning of a turnaround for Linda in her treatment success. Getting the trial drug is always a spirit lifter and provides more hope for a better outcome.
One question - will they change her treatment for the mets in her liver while the whole brain radiation is going on?

I can't recall any other member of this site getting the Allos drug. So, this is one to watch.

Dear Linda and Al,

I am happy that you received the tx you had hoped for. I think of Linda and the txs she has endured. She is an inspiration and gives me hope.

Love,
Lexi
