What are the latest treatment options for breast cancer? How do targeted therapies work? How do you sort out all the information on new treatments and talk to your doctor about them?

For a discussion of these important questions and more, join us on Friday, December 9 between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) (6 p.m. to 7 p.m. GMT)* for a special Webcast from the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium: "The Future of Breast Cancer: New Treatment Options Needed." The Webcast will be hosted by breastcancer.org and Oncolink.org.

The speakers are:

Marisa Weiss, M.D., a Philadelphia-area oncologist specializing in breast cancer, and founder and president of breastcancer.org. She is also founder of the non-profit organization Living Beyond Breast Cancer, author of the book "Living Beyond Breast Cancer," a member of the NCI Director's Consumer Liaison Group, and a consultant to national media. Dr. Weiss will also serve as moderator of the Webcast.

Edith A. Perez, M.D., professor of medicine at the Mayo Medical School in Rochester, Minn.

Nancy U. Lin, M.D., instructor in medicine at Harvard Medical School in Boston and a medical Oncologist at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.
