My insurance is paying for my adjuvant herceptin. I found out today when I received a bill for my 10% copay, hurrah! Since I started herceptin in August, I have been on pins and needles worrying about this. I had neoadjuvant chemo ( 12 taxol, 4 FAC) before mastectomy last January ( dx May 2004 stage 2 multifocal IDC grade 3 ER-PR- HER2+++ NP).
I gave articles on herceptin from nejm listed on this forum to benefit supervisor and also registered with Genetech for appeal etc. Thanks to everyone who wrote in about insurance coverage.
