Granulomatous

Received great news while getting Herceptin on friday past. No mets in the liver, bones or lungs but Granulomas again identified within lungs. Can anyone tell me what this is. After the result I got ,I am not too worried just curious.

Granulomas are really quite common on CT's & xrays of the lungs, and most often are just scars from irritation, infection etc...my Mom also has breast cancer and has been living with Granulomas for 15 years, with no problem.

Hi Sheila, thanx for the reply. As I said, I wasn't too worried but it helps big time to know exactly what's happening. Thanx again and I hope your mother keeps well.
