Hello everyone!

Mom and Dad are in Houston today waiting for Moms new scan results. This will be her first scans since beginning chemo again for liver and bone mets.(Navelbine/herceptin/zometa). Please send those positive vibes her way today.

Love,
Brittany

Good morning!

I just wanted to let you all know that your prayers and positive thoughts worked! In March '04 Mom had a 9 cm mass in her liver and her scan results yesterday showed that it is gone!! There is no evidence of disease in her liver!!! Her oncologists quote was "this is pretty remarkable". Needless to say I haven't heard Mom or Dad that happy in a long time. She still has a "tiny" spot on her T10 vertebra that the oncologist said is shrinking. So Mom will continue with her navelbine/herceptin and zometa. She doesn't have to go back to Houston for 4 months! Happy Holidays!!! Thank you all. xoxoxoxo

Dear Brittany,
How fortunate your mama is to have you. Of course we will think of her and pray for a healtlhy outcome on her scans. And I will ask God to give you all peace during what seems like a health care tsunami.
Stay with us and let us know how they turn out.
Love Kim from CT
