When I view posts without having logged in, I see the images next to each person's post, mine included, pictures etc. When I logg in, I don't see them. I'm not very computer literate, do I need to turn something on or off?

thanks for any help, Lolly

???????????

It never happens to me. The next time that you log in, try clicking the "remember me" button and see if that helps. Another thing to try is if you are using Internet Explorer, go to "Tools" on the top of the page, then to "internet options" delete "cookies" and "clear history"...that may solve the problem.

If all else fails..Ask Frank to fix it.

Warmest Regards
Joe

Yup, did all those things but it didn't fix the problem. If all else fails I'll ask my son-in-law to fix it, Frank wears many hats in this family but not the computer "go to" guy!

Thanks, Lolly

Same for me as Lolly I don't see the peoples pictures when I am logged in. Does any one else have this problem? Patty H

This was something I just figured was not up and running on the new board yet.
Or we had to re-register so maybe we have to put in our photos again? No.

But the photos that people have added to their posts come in fine.
Which ones are we talking about anyway??

I always come on to the board as logged in since I did the "remember me" box.
I use AOL, which is not always the same as the others.

Nope they work fine for me either with or without logging in. I'm using Internet Explorer.

Well, I use Internet Explorer also. Another "clue" is that when I'm not logged in, the "Quick reply to this message" icon isn't visible, just the "Quote" icon. Any ideas?

Just by drawing this problem a little closer to my gray matter, I have solved it on my end.
I went to the links bar and chose "User CP." In this menu, which stands for Control Panel, I found Avatar - and went in made some new choices there. That did the trick and now I can see all the smiling faces with their messages.

another solution is to post your question directly to Mark: http://www.her2support.org/vbulletin/member.php?u=7Al

Yea! Thanks Steph, the "User CP" options did the trick. Lots of other fun stuff there, I hadn't checked any of that out yet!
