Did anyone have weight loss as there first sign of cancer?
What about a reocurrance?
Even before your tumor markers or scans showed anything?
If it was, where did you met to?
Thank you for your input.

Linda lost a lot of weight but not until she jaundiced from liver mets.

My weight stayed the same even with the raging liver mets. Then the drugs puffed me up some and this seemed like weight gain, but was just water from some edema.
I have added a few pounds over the 5 years of fighting cancer, but just a pound here and there that are hard to shed!

Kristen,
Oh, Other than initial weight loss from worry within a few months of stage 4 dx, I have actually gained weight. my mets are to the lungs and I am NED for about 10 months now...But watch the weight loss; it is difficult to overcome once it starts to spiral...are you struggling now?

Ok girl, you're worrying me....I really think it's just stress and hormone fluctuations, you still have no other symptoms right? Your PET last month was clear, no reason to second guess, right?
