View Full Version : Hypnosis to change cancer cells

I went looking for this after it was suggested on this site that the brain cells possibly tell out cells to mutate. The mind is unexplored and when I saw on TV last night about people having out of body experiences when on the operating table it was proven that there was no possible way that one lady knew what was being don to her unless she was watching, ie going up throught the vein in her leg to her heart, all said that re-entering their body was painful, one lady was blind from birth and was able to describe her wedding ring and how she looked, she was still blind when she recovered, it was suggested that the white light is actually God's breath and although unable to see relatives they were present, the first lady was in no hurry to come back and her uncle explained the her children needed her but she kept saying they would be ok and if she went back he would have to push her, which he did and experience was as if diving into a swimming pool. the argument was that if you are dead their is no brain function, but in fact their has to be some memory function built in, a bit like when you crash your computer their is something their when you restart it. Weird as it seems and their are sceptics, but chemo does not break the brain barrier nor does it reach the testicles, the brain being the mother ship, if you don't want to move your arm it is unlikely that your brain can stop it, yet allow me here, if a mans penis is erect it can be raised through the thought process and as much as he wants it to go down his brain can't always do that do that. Having said that, there must be a chamber in the brain which has a valve which on goes out and does not let anything back in so the brain cancer cells are already their as it does not seem possible that they can travel through the blood or lymph to get to the brain, confused, so if we can get our subconscious to make these cells behave and keep our immune system healthy we may have something, there are ways to teach yourself to draw from the other side of the brain, have the book but can't get into it, I like quick solutions so I thought perhaps hypnosis can trigger the cells to do their job instead of being dormant, as cells are made up of atoms and other components, when someone is brain dead they are kept alive usually on life support, but in the case of heart failure they can be kept alive on heart bipass. So this is what I found. Believe it or not.

Can Hypnosis make changes in my body?

Can I change the internal conditions, influence my immune system, change the size of muscles, or in the condition of my skin?

You are constantly growing new cells. Every cell that dies off get it's instructions from the old cell, and in the case of skin cells, if there was a scar, the new cell is instructed to form in the same way as the old cell and become part of the scar tissue. But why does this perfectly healthy new cell have to take on the memory of the old cell? We get completely new skin every 20 days. All of our skin cells are replaced. They do not need to be replaced with the old messages. Hypnosis seems to be the messenger that can send information to the new cell, and break the communication of damage or aging, or injury. I have had many clients who have made scars go away. Hypnotists are very familiar with the process of permanently enlarging breasts with hypnosis because the cells respond to suggestion to become larger and more plentiful. Men have also enlarged their genitals with this same process. It is a well researched fact that hypnosis can increase the function of the immune system and affect cancer cells. In fact, Norman Cousins did a test to find out just how dramatic the effect is on the immune system after just one hour. He had blood drawn before his meditation session, then again immediately after. In one hour some immune factors in the blood had increased 200%. So when you have a cold, if you let yourself be miserable and focus on how sick you are getting, that is what you will get! Your immune system will respond by suppressing the activity.

If you decide to be well, and focus your thought on how quickly your body recovers, energize your immune system, and give your mind and body the energetic material it needs, you will probably get well very quickly. I am sure you know someone who goes around saying " I never get a cold, I just don't get sick" and they don't. You have probably wondered how they could do that, and now you know!

I used to have debilitating back pain, the kind that could sometimes keep my on the floor, unable to get up for more than a minute, that would go on for weeks. I believe that I have healed my bones, nerves and tissues in my back to the point that they are healthy and strong and getting stronger every day and every year. I used to have severe lower back pain several times a year. I was told that it would get worse as I get older. I want you to know that I have not had back pain for about 7 years. Coincidentally- the amount of time that I have been doing hypnotherapy as a career.

Can hypnosis make your body younger?

Quite possibly. If we are constantly growing new cells, and if we instruct them to find the most healthy and youthful information as the blueprint of their development, the cellular memory may change. Personally I believe it is possible to have younger skin, better vision, thicker hair, better memory, flexible joints. I have seen it in my clients and in myself. This is possible for everyone, not just for some. It is all a result of the thoughts that you fill your mind with and allow your mind to communicate to your body. What do you really want? Are you getting the results you are asking for? Check out your suggestions that you are giving yourself. Even if you are unhappy with some aspect of your life right now, maybe you will find out that you are getting what you want- you just didn't realize that you are just asking for the wrong thing.

I never got sick, not even a cold -before I got cancer. I guess I am an exception to your narrative!

Lyn,

Great thoughts on your part. I am able to hypnotize people to do past life regressions (I know many don't believe) so I believe in hypnosis. It's been hard during the past year to get myself to a point where I could meditate effectively. But you've given me something to think about--or NOT think about as meditation goes. I'm going to start practicing again today.

Several years ago, a couple developed Guided Image Therapy. It has been proven over and over to be effective therapy. I used it with a practioner during my original BC. You know what I'm talking about, like picturing your white blood cells or your chemo as sharks eating your cancer cells. I used water and everytime I would shower or even hear water, I would focus on my cancer cells washing away. I think I'll start that again.

Thanks, Lyn!

Love and light,

Lisa

I definitely believe this is true, and it is one of the main reasons I have been able to keep fighting BC and mets for 20 years, and am now NED for the 2nd time.(Though I definitely also give credit to herceptin, this website, and to faith and prayer!) As I've said here before, when my first 1989 BC metastized to my spine in 1990 my husband and I went to California and studied visual imaging ( or psychonueroimmunology, as it is sometimes called) with Dr. Carl Simonton, who was the pioneer in this for cancer. My husband and I are both PhD's in psychology and have both studied hypnosis. We prefer to call it guided imagry. I am now semi-retired, so don't use it as much for others, but he still works as a licensed clinical psychologist 3 days a week, and has had success with guided imagry in many areas, including self-esteem, addictions to drugs, alcohol and pornography. When I was actively working I used it especially with women who had been abused, (especially as children), and with Multiple Personality Disorder, now called Dissociative Identity Disorder . We all use self-hypnosis every day, whether in a positive or negative way. Many times negative images have been planted in our minds early on by others, and we need to work to overcome them. I really admire you, Lisa, for resolving to try the positive imagry in your life again. I think you'll find positive results. I pray that you will. If I can help any of you to learn how to do guided imagry to fight your cancer, I would be happy to, though I think what has been described so far can be very helpful. Thanks for bringing this up, Lyn. I wish you all good success!! Hugs, Tricia

"Can I change the internal conditions, influence my immune system, change the size of muscles, or in the condition of my skin? "

A question from Lyn's post. Back in the mid-70's I was active with a group of people who were professionals in hypnosis as well was some of us who were learing self-hypnosis. So being aware that the mind has a lot of power if we open up to this, it was a track I went back down to help me with my furiously moving metasteses in Jan of 2002.
This is not something I have posted much about excpet we did have a thread some time back about Guided Imagery.

Tricia is a professional, but likens hypnosis with guided imagery. I have found that for me the 2 states are not exactly alike and can augment each other. Then I can even put more instructions into a state of being that I was able to contact within myself. These instruction for healing were embedded into my subconscious and have stood firm as the years pass.

The instructions basically under the hypnosis part are to reach a level of relaxation and well-being where my inner self is not bothered by any outside clatter or antics of others. I then become receptive in this state at the cellular level for the guided imagery portion to go to work. Once the state achieved under hynosis can be accessed almost subconsciously with going through the process of "going under" normally, I am ready for the meditation and instructions. A short cut was created.

Under the post above about guided imagery I will go more into that.

Tricia, how does this sound to you as a practitioner? My hypnotherapist friend is internationally known and we have a long time bond though we rarely see each other. He thinks of me from time to time and I appear in his office between his sessions so that he can see that I am indeed still alive and what we put into play years ago is working. Something that we do not have to understand, it just happens.

" can be accessed WITHOUT going through the process of "going under" normally."

In other words, use a few key words to take myself to that state of being and go to the instructions for healing part without really being hypnotized.
