Zometa side effect

I wanted to let you in on a side effect my mom experienced from receiving Zometa. She got severe leg pain about 1 week later and it lasted for about 2 months. She does not have mets in the legs and no clots either. It took a long time to figure out where the pain was coming from. We put her back on Ariedia and she was fine, a few months ago for some reason she got Zometa again and the leg pain came back.
Just wanted to post in case others had similar experiences

My wife hasn't had any side effects outside of feeling a little "off" the day of the infusion, but I appreciate the heads up.

I have been on Zometa for a year now and have had no side affects. May you need to talk to your doctor
