WBC Counts on Herceptin

I have completed 6 of 52 Herceptin treatments (only Herceptin with Arimidex - no chemo). My total WBC has dropped from 7 to 4.2, my lymphocytes from 33 to 22.4 and my monocytes from 8 to 4 (only the lymphocytes are out of range low). I thought I saw a previous post on how to keep things higher but I am not sure.

Is there anything to do about getting these readings at least in the middle of the normal range (because they're not that low for Leukine or Neulasta).

Dear Becky,

Maitake mushrooms may raise your count. Also an adaptogen such as rhodiola rosea may also help. Another thing is if you are slightly sleep deprived, try melatonin as it will help you sleep, re-set your circadian rythm and give your body more recuperation time.
