Congratulations, Lisa and Mel! Grandchildren are God's compensation for growing older! Now you have even more reason to keep fighting! Best wishes, Tricia

That's GREAT!
Nothing like a newborn to make you forget about "what ails you!"

Babies are so much fun to watch - such a wonder! Kittens are still right up there!
I will never forget giving my second grandson his first feeding, as his Mom was too knocked out from her cesarian drugs. All Jenny wanted to know was that he WAS eating.
Know you are just busting your buttons!

Thank you all for the congrats! FYI, this is Mel's daughter's daughter (not that I MIND being Grandma!). I've only been a part of her life for the past few years, and most of that wasn't great. But she has matured, and is now a mother. She and Laynie are in NJ, while we're in Colorado. We hope to fly out next week to visit. Mel is chomping at the bit. We'll be taking at least 2 extra suitcases for all the gifts we bought and handmade quilts from Mel's sister and mother.

Love and light,

Lisa
