Christine and I will be travelling to the Bay area (Concord, CA) next week for my work. Yes, I do have another life. I am a Communication Engineer presently working under contract to the U.S. Navy.

Chris is planning to travel with me to keep me company. We will be staying at the Residence Inn in Pleasant Hill. Anyone want to meet?

Christine doesn't drive, but loves to shop (hint)

Hi Joe & Chris,

We'll be crossing each other. As you already know, I'm in Los Angeles right now, then San Diego for 2 days, until Thursday, July 14.

I believe that your hotel is near a train station which is called BART (Bay Area Rapid Transportation). Since you don't drive Chris, you might want to hop on BART to ride over the bridge & come out at the Powell station in San Francisco. Then you'd be surrounded many stores. If you walked up north on Powell for about 4 or 5 blocks, you'd reach the famous "Union Square". Macy's, Nordstrom's, Neiman Marcus, SAK5, Borders, Disney Store, to name a few, are located at the Square.
