Thanks for the links, MaryAnn!
Boy, did we get out!
We have 2 French girls visiting for the next 3 weeks and we have been showing them some of our lovely parks in the Seattle area (are having PERFECT weather right now). We have been to several local beaches and marinas the past 2 days and spent this afternoon at Green Lake which is not far from the University of Washington. The girls wanted to play vollyball and found some guys to play with after our picnic. Then we rented a 4-person paddleboat and went out on the lake for an hour in the late afternoon.
Came back home and had Dungeness crab and chicken parmegiana for dinner. The girls have gone with hubby to watch the fireworks. I am allergic to the sulpher in the smoke of the fireworks, so don't subject myself to that anymore.

Thank you for the links I really enjoyed them. I didn't go and see the fire works because I had soom problems here. One day I'll tell you. It's not about my health. I am having a PET Scan today. I gotta go now. I'll get back to you. You have a nice day, and may God Bless you. You ARE in my thoughts and prayers. Mary Ann

Steph - Dungeness crab!! I am so jealous. I can only get them frozen out here in NY. They are soooo much better fresh.
2 French girls, huh. I am sure they didn't have a problem getting guys to play volleyball with them. LOL.
Have fun with the visit. I am sure it's nice to see your town through new eyes. I live in a tourist town, and I just take it for granted. I love when I have visitors that I can give the tour too.

Mary Ann - I hope all is well. I am having a CAT tomorrow, a Muga (heart) scan on Thursday and a PET on Friday. I will look like a pin cushion by the end of the week. On top of all that, I had chemo today and an aranesp shot (counts are low again). I will say a pray that your test (and mine) come back clean!!!

It looks like it is THE week for scans, etc.
This morning I had a CT and then my 3-month brain MRI.
Saw my med onc in the elevator and will have my next visit with him on Monday.
Will say an extra prayer that all goes well for you MaryAnns.
Actually, about the Dungeness crab - it was frozen this time, but still good. We had it two days in a row - one of the French girls does not like it, or anything in a shell, so more for the rest of us!
