Hi everyone! Just wanted to share my happiness at turning 40 today! I never thought I'd reach this milestone when I was diagnosed at 36 with aggressive Her2 BC... I remember the grim prognosis and thinking "I hope I live to be 40" and here I am! Thanks to God, surgery, chemo, rads, and Herceptin and the love & support of so many--including the many wonderful people on this board--I have achieved my goal! 40 is the new 30...

I guess that one thing good about this disease is that we can be so much happier on our birthdays because we take them less for granted!

I hope you have an absolutely wonderful day and live to celebrate a bunch more birthday milestones!

Here's to YOU, Audrey!

I am looking for the big SIX-0 - I can hardly remember 40! Just that I know I had a lot more energy then and never dreamed I would be in the situation healthwise that I am.

Maybe the big 60 is the new 40 - see what you think in a few years - and really, really enjoy the day today. Do not let anyone ruin it or even put a damper on it for any reason.
