A nutritionist I have consulted with at the Lacks Cancer Center in Grand Rapids MI sent me an article that I thought was interesting. If anyone has access to the Annals of Oncology website it is 2004, Volume 15, pg 1719-1723. A preliminary study by J.A. Menendez (he just put out a study in Jan. that olive oil helps herceptin supress Her2) shows that while olive oil, vegetable oil, and fish oil inhibit the development and progression of human breast cancer, corn and sunflower oils stimulate the disease.
