Hi everyone. I thought I'd give an update. I had my 6th WBR treatment today. I guess the worst of it is the steroids. They make me sweat terribly and have heart palpitations. And I'm eating like a lumberjack. How soon will my hair start to fall out and after reading the other posts, start to have burns and peeling? I feel like I am on a lunar landscape at times, but other times feel pretty normal. I talked to Christine about 2 weeks ago, and she told me that I would skate through this. Most of the time I really feel this way, even though everyone around me is stunned and so afraid. Though everyone knows this, this board has gotten me through the last two weeks. I thank every one of you who reads and posts.

Hi Carla

I too went through WBR about 2 months ago. My hair fell out right around the 2nd weeek. I too ate like a lumberjack but this ended up causing lots of stomach discomfort. I took Prevacid for this and eventually it got much better.
I hope you do well through this and I will pray for good things for you.
