bone scan results

My bone scan showed no cancer, but something is there causing the pain. They just don't know what it is. My tumor markers rose only 3 points, but my alk/phos is above normal at 160. I continue to hope for the best.

Hi,
a tumor on a bone scan has to be a certain size to show up. if you are having pain, you are better off having an MRI done - it is a more sensitive test and will show mets when a bone scan doesn't.
