Jane Plant is a british geologist who had great success fighting breast cancer with both chemo and diet. Her book is called Your life in your Hands and published in the U.S. as The No Dairy Breast Cancer Prevention Diet.
I'm trying to follow this because I do think nutrition and diet matter, but it gets hard sometime to walk by the jun food of yesteryear and pick up my veggies.
Is anyone following this plan , and interested in online support?

Hi Tanya,
I am very interested in reading her book but haven't done so yet. Was at bookstore this AM and they didn't have it. Did buy Christina Pierelli's newest, same concept. Tried macrobiotic diet last yr but was too restrictive and cdn't stay on it. Hope to find Jane Plant's book soon and start weeding the bad stuff out of my diet and get back to organic. I am convinced that diet can help prevent bc, and I hope it can help hold it at bay! Will be very interested in communicating with you after I read the book.
Take care,
Jackie

Hi -
I have a post down below under "Sugar-busters diet" as to how I became familiar just over 2 years ago with Jane Plant and her theories.
She has a wonderful section in her book regarding diet - the page is divided in half and headed "if you do this - now do this" with suggestions for substitutes that will give us better nutrition and chance of fighting cancer. I have used many of these suggestions and the changes have been easy to stick to.
Try looking on amazon.com or your local health food store - I saw it in my local "healthy food" store.
Here is a link with a great excerpt from her book and some other information.

I just ordered it last week from Amazon.com. I ordered it "used" and instead of paying the normal $15.00 or so, I paid something like $3.50 + shipping & handling. When you log into Amazon.com and type the title in under books, you can view excerpts from the book (table of contents, etc.) It looks interesting and am looking forward to reading it. I'll share my thoughts once I receive it and read it.
Take care all.
