How long has it been since you switched over? I just started yesterday - 4 pills in the am and 3 at night. So far there are no side effects but it is early.

I have a large ulcerated area on my radiation site that the onc believes includes cancer cells. Do you have any of that?

I did not have any problems with my hands and feet until I stopped the Xeloda. I thought, "wow, how lucky I was" and then it happened. Cracks and peeling around the nail beds. I wasn't on it that long as it didn't work on my skin mets. Remember we are all different and that doesn't mean it will not work for you. Good luck. Sandy
