Linda,
My husband has osteonecrosis or AVN (avascular necrosis) in both hips due to chemo. He deals with it for almost 9 years. He has some pain and limitation in some movements, but he is still able to play tennis, of course not as before the AVN. He takes 2 pills of "artrodar" every day and it keeps him very well, with less pain. After visiting many doctors, we discover that there is a successful therapy with radio frequency that can stop the AVN, if it is detected in the beginning. Unfortunately we discovered this therapy late. Some doctors tried to do a surgery (hip replacement), but we are trying to delay it because he is very young to do that. If you need some information, please contact me - bete@capacitat.com.br
Sorry for my english. I'm from Brazil.
God bless you.
Bete
