vitamins interfering with herceptin?

Hi all

Was curious as to what vitamins if any that all of you are on? I read somewhere that vitamins could potentially interfere with your herceptin? Has anyone else heard this? I'm on a multivitamin but was considering taking extra B complex vitamins. Also was hoping that vitamins would help the hair grow faster! :)

Hi Lori, my oncologist advised me against taking any extra vitamins or herbal supplements other than a multi-vitamin because she said this could tax my liver since everything is filtered through there. However, I have heard that some ladies post that they take other vitamins and minerals and herbs. So I don't know. I also take 2 tablespoon of flaxseed every day and was on iron tablets because of low iron for about 3 weeks but my oncologist also stopped that. God bless you.

Hi Lori. I am taking now Squalen (Shark´s oil) and a multivitamin too. I´ve read a lot about vitamins and it is a very controversial subjetct. Well, I can not writte very much now, but I hope this help you.
