I took this from the Herceptin website under prescribing information. The kg is body weight, for us "US" folk, a kilo is about 2.2 pounds. From my calculations I would guess you weigh about 147.4 pounds. But of course my calcs. could be WAY-OFF!! I know, I should never talk about a LADIES weight.... I am probably in trouble again!!! or still... The prescribing info also suggest that amounts could be adjusted to best suit the patient tolerance level.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION Usual Dose The recommended initial loading dose is 4 mg/kg Trastuzumab administered as a 90-minute infusion. The recommended weekly maintenance dose is 2 mg/kg Trastuzumab and can be administered as a 30 minute infusion if the initial loading dose was well tolerated. HERCEPTIN may be administered in an outpatient setting. HERCEPTIN is to be diluted in saline for IV infusion.
Now probably no one will tell you how much Trastuzumab they receive.... Sorry.
