I am going to Scotland in June to interr my Daddy's ashes in Kilbirinie, Scoltand. I am on Xeloda now and find my legs don't want to go as far and as strong as they did. We have booked a one week tour as there are 22 of us going. ( My Dad was a much loved Man). The day of interrment, we are spending a good deal of time in his birth town of Kilbinie, plus friends in Scotland have arranged for some wonderful things for us.
Anyway my question is this has anyone had experience with traveling with a wheelchair, where can I rent one relatively inexpensively, or should I wait and rent one there. If the decision is to rent one in Scotland, does anyone know where I can do so.
Thank you

Hi Sherry,
I haven't had the experience, but I do have a wheel chair that was provided to me from the people I get my oxygen from. What you might want to do is call your insurance company and ask them who their provider is for medical equipment and how would you go about renting a wheel chair. Also check with the airlines to find out what their policy is.
