Hi, friends,

For those folks who are relatively new to our Board, we would like to know how you came to find us. Web search, Day of Caring, friends, onc, etc? If you remember, please let us know.

Love and healing light to all,

Lisa

Found out about this site from one of the oncologists at my cancer center who had met Christine in San Antonio. It was at a Team Survivor Northwest Holiday Party at Dr. Gralow's home. Subject came up as I had met another woman there who is Her2 positive and we were comparing notes. The doc heard us talking and went up to her computer and gave us the link info.
Great networking that afternoon!

My sister-in-law gave me the web address. She saw it in, I believe it was, Family Circle magazine talking about Herceptin. She saved the magazine for me. Its a great site. Hugs, Sandy

I was searching on Google for chemotherapy drugs and luckily hit on one that had been mentioned in a posting. My good fortune!

My husband was on the web researching breast cancer therapies and documentation on Her2neu+ when I was first diagnosed.

I love this message board -- all the wonderful people who post and the wealth of information shared. Thank you Christine and Joe for all of your efforts in bringing all of us together.

I was doing an internet search on Herceptin after I went from weekly Navelbine/Herceptin to Herceptin solo. As I remember, my post stated that it was like coming on an oasis in a desert!

2 years ago I met a woman in Cincinnati who volunteered for a teen driving accident avoidance and defensive driving program my husband runs. She became known as our Cincinnati Angel. I found out then (2002) that she had breast cancer and was Her2 positive. I thanked God every day that I didn't walk in her shoes...little did I know that, in fact, I was walking in her shoes. When I was diagnosed one week ago with breast cancer and Her2 positive, she sent me to this support group. She's still my Cincinnati Angel.
