I am so sorry to hear this. I was the one (or one of the ones) who told you it was TMJ and not to worry about "hoofbeats" if there were horses in the picture. I am so sorry I was wrong. I WISH I were right. Can you take herceptin? Have you been on it before?
Hey I am with you wish it was TJM only.My doctor as great as he is though it was also.I had been haveing all good scans. As for the herceptin no I can not take it.I am ER- PR- and HER2 neg.,so thats out.He called M.D. Anderson they said he has done all they would for me up till now. And with all the treatment I do not fit in for a trail. So next week we will see what is out there for me.Thing is this will be round 3 in 2 years this week.Oh there is also a spot on my liver. We pray its the chemo but with the way things have gone so far its not looking that way.Lauren do have a nice weekend.I will get off and try and do the same.Cause next week we will be at this cancer war one more time.Kay
I'm so sorry it was a recurrence, but so glad you went to the doc. The earlier, the better to begin another damn fight. Somewhere, deep within ourselves, we find the energy to continue. Keep us posted.
Love and healing light,

Kay,
Sorry to hear of your recurrence - it's disappointing when you receive the news. I have a friend who had it spread to her jaw and is undergoing radiation for it. I had great success with taxol/carboplatin/herceptin for liver mets. If your spot in lungs and liver turns out to be mets, maybe you can try the taxol and carboplatin. I had near total remission after 11 weeks (my largest liver tumor was 6.8 cm). Hope this helps. Keep us posted.
