I'm on taxotere and had the constant tearing problem. I found an article on the issue on the internet (can't find the link now - sorry), emailed it to my nurse and she referred me to an opthamologist that had seen several patients dealing with chemo side effects. The eye doc thinks that the taxotere drains into the tear ducts and eventually causes the ducts to become blocked.
My ducts weren't blocked, so to prevent that from occuring he put in small silicone tubes - almost invisible - and the constant tearing went away.
