While I have given my greatest hope for cure in God, I am also given hope from you people that stage 4 isn't an automatic death sentence. I am ready to see God when the time comes, but I'm not ready to say goodbye to my family and friends. Some of them are not saved and I know I would be saying goodbye to them forever. To me this is much harder then battling the cancer. Someday I will be in heaven and I want everyone I know to be there with me. So until then I will be trying to get recruits!!!!!!

Lu ann,
Your post reminds me of a song they play on christian radio station. Its about somepeople needing to hear about Jesus 15 times before it sinks in. Then goes on to say, heh, I might be the 15th time someone hears about God and makes the difference! We are all put on this earth for a purpose. I thought mine was to raise my kids. But maybe he has something better in mind for me, helping as a nurse in the cancer center, or turning others to Jesus by the way I deal with my cancer. I pray that he shows me what he wants from me. All of us want to go out with that purpose being met. We want to make a difference in this world, to leave a legacy. If my legacy is not holding and loving my grandkids, then I hope it is something someone will see as it made a difference in someone's life that had cancer themselves. Christine has already full filled her "legacy" with this site. I hope I can find my "difference" soon!!

Thankyou Michele U,

We all need a purpose or a cause in our lives to make sense of lifes ups and downs. I have found my purpose and it makes me feel happy and blessed to be alive.

Blessing to All!
