Hi Jackie -
Not good about the spreading skin mets - but OK if they are responding to treatment and not bothering you in any other way.
How long does your med onc predict you need treatment? Or will he not yet opine on that?

I do what I can to free myself of "free radicals" and toxins - short of coffee enemas! I use a skin lotion that is formulated to detoxify skin cells. It is an all organic herbal product. It has vitamins A, C and E so may not be good when mets are present. I get it from an herbal specialties store and it is not expensive.
I figure I need to use skin lotion anyway, so why not one that will benefit me in even more ways?

All the best to you and we will be hoping to hear more good news on your fight.

Thanks for your message, Steph. I've been feeling pretty bad recently and my onc doesn't really know why. Scan results due on Mon and we'll see if something new has cropped up. No pain, just weakness. My onc has suggested dropping to an every other wk chemo/herceptin schedule which I like, but may chng her mind if there is progression. No symptoms but you never know! I just want to feel more like the living again instead of sitting in the house all day. I've been on chemo for mets for a year and have never had any kind of problem before so it's pretty frustrating. Thanks to reading here, had an MRI of brain followed by a gamma knife procedure in June but hard to believe that has anything to do with this. Hope all is well with you!
Love, Jackie
