How Long Did it Take for Your White Counts to Normalize

I finished my A/C and Taxol on May 26. I received
Neulasta with each treatment. Two months later my total white count is 2.9 (2900 - normal is 5-10,000)) and my neutrophil count is only 1500. I am on Herceptin but it only causes neutropenia in 3% of patients. Have any of you had a low white count two months after finishing chemo? I hope my low white count is not from the Herceptin.

I had to reply because this was a huge post-chemo concern for me as well. 4 months out of chemo and my neutrophils had only reached 1.3 (1300). No one seemed concerned and now, at 7 months post, all is back to normal (I too am on herceptin).

Thanks very much for the reply. It certainly made me feel better. I guess maybe I should not have been suprised as even with Neulasta my white count went as low as 300 at my nadir point when I was on chemo.
