What about weekly taxol/herceptin/carboplatin treatments for your lung mets? You could try cisplatin instead of the carboplatin but it is not tolerated as well as the carboplatin (but if it works). This is a very doable treatment and produces great results. Make sure you have an oncologist who will work with you....if not get another one and fast!!!!! Wishing you the best!!

Was so great to meet you at the Survivor's Day event. Call about lunch any time. Have you considered having your dog's leg amputated if the cancer is localized? A friend's golden did very well.
