Quarterly for mets patients?

Hi Lisa -
Is this a new recommendation? Only for brain mets patients or mets in general? I have a hard time believing that the insurance carriers will pay for that many. Please expound a little for us.
I would get the MRIs more often (to catch early!) if I thought there was a procedure in motion that would allow it!

I don't know whether it's an "offical" recommendaiton. I just know my onc has given me quarterly CT scans, brain included, since my recurrence diag. When it was time for my June CT scans, I simply asked for a brain MRI, rather than a CT, knowing it was more sensitive and that it didn't use radiation.
