In my earlier message I posted a link to an article I found by an MD who's often cited in the Cancer News articles, and he lists several studies supporting the theory of a link between higher blood-glucose levels and cancer. I have always taken this theory with a grain of salt, myself, but after seeing Angela's question I did some searches, saw lots of citations, and decided to post this one as it seemed fairly informative.

Al, I hit the Mother Lode, I think! Found this page of summary reports by copying one of the references at the end of the Regence page(see my message below) and pasting onto a GOOGLE search. Hope this helps...

You did hit the mother load. The results are encouraging however, I don't think the proceedure will be available in Canada. It's a start and I will keep looking.
