Why is it so?

I've asked my nurse practitioner this very question: if there's a blood-brain barrier against chemo, how can there be chemo brain? Of course, I don't remember her answer! But I think it had something to do with the overall effects of chemo, not chemo directly to the brain. I will see her today, as a matter of fact, and will ask her again--if I remember!!
