Hopefully she will see this. She just did gamma knife and her lung, liver, and bones were clear. Had lymph node involvement again that they felt, and that is how they found the brain mets, I think. Hopefully she will jump in and correct me if I'm wrong.

Sorry, if I'm too late in my response; didn't check the boards for a few days now.

Yes, it's correct that I got brain mets, no other organ involvement. I suspect that I'm early mets stage 4. Perhaps, weekly herceptin is being able to keep my cancer at bay, except for the brain, due to the infamous brain blood barrier.

I'll find out more after I get my PET scan results back early next month. This will be my first PET test. Wish me luck!
