It is SCARY to know that 30% of ALL metasatic BC patients will eventually get brain mets. What is EVEN MORE scary is that brain mets can be just as sneaky as the initial disease in our breast and come with NO symptoms.
THAT is the crux of the arguement for me as to whether to find a way to have regular brain MRIs. I'm doing it! Had 2 already since mets first appeared almost 3 years ago. I will have it again in Jan sometime. And I hope to find a place around here that has the 3-tesla kind of machine.
