New BC stamps on sale

I just got an email from my daughter - the Post office is selling books of stamps-under a Fund the Cure slogan- these were designed by Ethel Kessler of Bethesda Maryland- The sell for $800 a book . Each stamps actually costs $.40 rather than the usual $.30 but the extra money goes to research. The email said if all the books are sold it would raise $35 million for research!
She is urging everyone to buy a book! $*.00 is a small price to pay to help with this disease!

OOps- That is $8.00 per book- not $800!
I am getting worse at typing these days so please excuse. The part of raising $35 mil is correct however.

I am with you! I have been buying BC Stamps since my dx in 2002. An easy way to add to the research dollars...thanks for the reminder!
