Neursurgeon recommends craniotomy, scheduled for next Nov.03 Tulsa. Seems thorough etc. only thing is Tulsa doesn't get a lot of brain cases, does spine.
My sis n law says no! Her daughter had primary brain tumor as a baby & neurosurgeon, not primarily specializing craniotomies cut her optic nerve.
The tumor board in OKC unanamousley recomended craniotomy 1st choice; 2nd cyberknife only if other CA warrented the urgency 2nd onc says not since this has been growing so slow.
So, now I need a good neurosurgeon with craniotomy specialty. Willing to travel to Kansas City, St. Louis, OKC, Houston or elsewhere.
Trying not to stress out. Thanks for all your info in advance. Velva
